Game Setup:

You can specify the names of the teams and which team is the "home" team in the Setup activity. Tap the Setup button in the Action Area and enter appropriate values. If you are not broadcasting, you only need to supply the team names and specify which team is the home team.

If you want to keep track of your kid's stats then enter his/her name as well. Use either a first name or a first name and last initial only. You should also decide whether you want to automatically update the team's stats when you enter stats for your kid. If you don't, then you will have to do both when you kid shoots, scores, makes an out, etc.

Loading/Saving Teams:

To make entering the information easy, you can tap the "Save My Team" button to save the information for future games. When you visit the Setup activity and you have saved teams there will also be a "Load My Team" button with which you can recall the information. You can save more than one team for each sport in case you have more than one kid!

Messages:

If the My Kid Scoreboard support team needs to communicate with you for some reason, a message will be displayed to you when launch the app. This is the only way that the My Kid Scoreboard support team can communicate with you since no personal information (name, e-mail, etc.) is ever requested from you. The app checks for messages using its unique device ID when it checks for unfinished games. Tap on the "Acknowledge" button that accompanies the message and it will never again be displayed.
